"Father of Tragedy"
According to legend, Dionysus ordered Aeschylus to write tragedies after coming to him in a dream.
His successors were Sophocles and Euripides.
Plays include The Persians, Seven Against Thebes, The Suppliants, The Oresteia, and many more.

Wrote at least 90 plays
Strangely, most of his success was accomplished after he died. His stories were not as well recieved while he was alive.
Some of his plays are Medea, Hippolyta, Andromache, Hecuba, and Heracles. Many of Euripides' plays seemed to be titled after the name of the central character.
